River Bakery
Organic sourdough bread & sweet treats. Godney’s Nordic bakery has become a massive hit producing some of the tastiest bread we have ever tried. And their cinnamon buns are to die for. Collection on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Email Anna a few days in advance for current menu.

Godney Aquaponics
Fed up with the poor quality of veg in the shops, Melv and Sal’s vegetable aquaponics system provide fresh vegetables, salad crops and ‘happy’ eggs for the village, and beyond. Sweet’s Tea Rooms
A great place for anything from a morning fry up to an afternoon tea and cake.
They use good quality brands and wherever possible, local suppliers. A firm favourite for passing cyclists and nature lovers as its between Shapwick and Westhay Nature Reserves. Whilst there, check out their Peat & Science Museum!
Wilkins Cider Farm
What can we say about Wikins Cider!! It’s a Somerset institution. Roger and previous generations of Wilkins have been serving and selling farmhouse cider for centuries. Go to buy some…. maybe stay for a few… maybe some local cheese, and pickled onions too. Yum!
Open 10am - 8pm every day except Sunday when they close at 1pm.

Heck’s Farm Shop and Cider
One of the best farmhouse cider makers around, Heck’s produce around 20 sinle variety ciders. The business has been in the family for over six generations. Stop by their farm shop in Street and pick up some locally sourced produce and maybe a sample of two of their delicious cider.
Hector’s Farm Shop
The family-run shop has been in the Hector family for nearly 20 years, and the shop itself began life as Wedmore’s high street butcher’s many years before that. Farmers for four generations, the Hector family is proud to offer quality produce, trusted service and local delivery to the people of Wedmore and surrounding Somerset villages.
Middlewick Farm Shop
Situated at Middlewick Holiday Cottages, Wick, Glastonbury. They sell local and organic products, home reared meat, homemade ready meals, local, beer, cider, wine, milk and general provisions. Also do takeaway coffee and snacks.

The Frome Independant
This market takes place on the first Sunday of the month from March to December throughout Frome town centre. They showcase designer-makers, flea traders, independent local, seasonal and regional food and drink producers, and street food vendors, both form the local area, and the wider South West region.
Durslade Farm Shop
A little further away, this farm shops shares the site with the Hauser & Wirth gallery and the Roth Bar & Grill restaurant in Bruton. They pride themselves on using growers, farmers and makers from the local area.
